Up early and down in the yard by 07:00 to fit the cover. There was still some breeze but we managed to fit the cover and we were ready to go by 09:00. An uneventful journey home and arrived by 19:00 with a full van to unpack!
Lift out day and we were up early to pack the sleeping berth mattresses, bags of clothes and last minute bits and pieces in the van. The marina lifted out a fishing boat for a quick scrub off and then another yacht for winter storage before us but we were on the fuel berth at …
Anne feeling better so pressed on with cleaning and packing the van. Richard lowered himself down into the bilge to sponge out the remaining water after the pump loses suction. Not easy and a lot of smelly muddy water from the anchor chain locker. All ready for the lift out tomorrow.
Anne not feeling too good, so we just slowly continued packing and cleaning. Richard dismantled the genoa furler as the furling line was looking a bit tired and probably needs replacing. We will take it home and make a decision later. It it snaps it is a disaster as the genoa can unfurl fully when …
