Lots of French boats coming into the anchorage at Porth Cressa but we felt confident to leave Harvard at anchor and headed off for a longish walk around the island. Beautiful sunny weather now with a brisk north westerly breeze. First stop was for coffee, tea and cake with a fantastic view over the harbour.

Then as we were further away from the town there were less walkers. Some interesting Neolithic burial chambers to look at.

Then as we rounded the top of St Mary’s what did we see but another cruise ship. This time a Saga ship so nothing to do with Richard!!! Anne not impressed, but hopefully it helps the island economy.

We had a great walk and then headed back and had a welcome shower courtesy of the tourist information centre at Porth Cressa. After quite a few nights at anchor we were starting to feel a bit smelly. Then more shopping and back to Harvard to watch even more French boats arriving. They seem to be very intrepid sailors considering how far they have probably come.
