We had a smooth journey up to London and across to Thomas’ flat. Thomas was on holiday so, as he was not there, we just bought some provisions at the local supermarket to eat at home. It was very hot in London, so not so great for sleeping.
The next morning Richard was up early to catch trains and a bus out to Epsom racecourse where his meeting was being held in the grandstand complex. A nice venue for business meetings. Anne went off to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition which she described as extremely weird and a little bit disappointing. Met up again at the flat and ate in again. Still very hot in London.
On Thursday morning we headed off to see Charlotte and the grandchildren to give Charlotte a bit of a break. Prem is very busy at work, so we hardly saw him. Had a lovely, if tiring day and it was back to the flat ready to head back to Falmouth the next day.

Looking after little Arjan
Friday we up early, off to Paddington and another smooth journey to Falmouth. This time we had booked seats on the train to Plymouth so not there stress about having to find a seat. All well back on Harvard but the wind direction is going to change back to easterly and we know the mooring we are on will not be so comfortable when the wind does change.
