A bit of a change of plan in that Charlotte thought it better to meet up Friday as they were in the vicinity and couldn’t access their holiday accommodation until after 4:30 pm. We met them in town and had a coffee with them and bought lunch (lots of fruit for Jiya) before taking the water taxi out to Harvard on the mooring. Much safer and more practical than trying to ferry everybody across in our small dinghy. Jiya thought the boat was great fun and enjoyed climbing about and going through the deck hatches. Grandpa explained the main sheet system to Arjan although all he wanted to do was put the rope in his mouth! Jiya had a go at tying knots!

After lunch they passed out on our bunk in the forward cabin and we managed a nice afternoon chatting to Charlotte and Prem.

We called the water taxi and walked them back to their car after a lovely day together. We collected our dinghy from the pontoon and once back on Harvard stowed it away ready to start heading east back to Southampton the next day.
