This day was set aside to meet up with Anne’s brother Pete. Thursday is his day off from his work at the YMCA in Exeter but we didn’t expect him to about midday as he had other things to do in the morning. So after a bit of shopping we had a coffee in town and he soon called to say he was on his way. We met him on his way to us from parking his car and had a real surprise to find he had grown a beard. We had a nice lunch onboard Harvard and then whilst Anne and Pete walked out to Berry Head, Richard bought some more engine oil, checked over the engine and prepared Harvard for a long passage back towards the Solent.
