Left Bembridge at more or less high tide tide to cross over to Portsmouth so that Anne could catch the train to London for babysitting duties on Friday. The wind was pretty much “on the nose” so we motored across and had no problems mooring up in Royal Clarence marina. Anne had booked ahead and were given a nice sheltered berth. This marina is the furthest from town, but it is very quiet and sheltered which we like.
Once settled in we walked up to the ferry so Anne could cross over to Portsmouth and take the train up to London to stay with our son Thomas. Richard retired onboard to happily “mulch” and stream TV programmes!!
