Woke up to a grey drizzle but undeterred Richard went off to do the Penryn parkrun again. Anne decided to try the harbour laundry facilities. Richard knocked nearly 3 minutes off his previous Penryn parkrun time so he was quite pleased with this. After a shower it was time for breakfast and then back out to Harvard. Anne was very unhappy that the tumble dryers in the laundry were not very efficient and the clothes were still damp.

We were soon off the mooring and had a great sail tacking all the way into the Helford River in an ideal 15 knots or so of breeze. This time we anchored on the south side of the river opposite Durgan as it promised to be more sheltered from the forecast south westerly wind, although it probably didn’t make much difference.
