Thursday, 1 August, Poole Harbour and Studland Bay

Spent most of the day trying to paddle board. No more photographs!!! It was pretty hot and windless so perfect conditions. Then we packed the paddle board away and late afternoon left to anchor in Studland Bay. After nearly being run down by a manic powerboat we were soon safely anchored off the beach in the northern corner in anticipation of a northerly wind overnight. Richard regretted packing up the board as we could have done some more paddle boarding off the beach but we were probably too tired after the mornings exertions to do it safely, so it was probably just as well.
