Decided we would anchor further up the estuary as it is quieter and less expensive than being on a buoy. You still pay to anchor, but not so much. First of all, however, we went over to the transit pontoon (30 minute stay) to fill up with water. The tank was quite empty so it was well worth doing. Then we headed up towards Kingsbridge and anchored off Hanwell Point just north of The Bag. We were the only yacht there and picked our spot. The anchor seemed very secure and as it was windy and showery we stayed onboard for the afternoon, just mulching and reading books.
