A day for paddle boarding. Inflated the dinghy and the paddle board and set off for the beach. A lovely hot day but mindful of falling in still wore wet suits. Had a great day just messing around on the paddle board. Richard not very stylish and he did manage to get his shoulders sunburnt.

Woke up to find a big (for Fowey) ship coming in to collect china clay. The wind was forecast to be west to southwest. We hoisted the mainsail in the harbour and once outside Richard decided to use the cruising chute (a kind of spinnaker) as the wind angle was just right for this sail.

A bit of a change of plan in that Charlotte thought it better to meet up Friday as they were in the vicinity and couldn’t access their holiday accommodation until after 4:30 pm. We met them in town and had a coffee with them and bought lunch (lots of fruit for Jiya) before taking the
